We transfer you to the Temple Pasar Agung at Selat village, where the night adventure starts
.Under the star lights and bright torch light, we will find our way through mountain forest until the timber-line and then follow a natural trail of extinct lava.
Breath-taking birds eye view at the young daybreak light, and a picnic breakfast with hot coffee or tea above the clouds, are awaiting you at the edge of the crater. The ascent takes about 4 hrs.
The descent nearly only half the time. At the transfer car, cool face towels, cold drinks and fresh tropical fruits are awaiting you.

DETAILED I T I N E R A R Y
Before midnight at about 10 pm. you will be pick up at your hotel lobby for your hike, up to Mt. Agung 3142m. App. 90 min. transfer to Pasar Agung Temple at Selat village, where your night adventure starts. After brief information about your hike and safety en route, your tour guide will distribute small back packs includes torch light, 3x 500ml mineral water/ person, gloves and rain poncho.
We suggest to wear the gloves during your entire stay at Mt. Agung. The gloves should protect your hands from scratches if you grab and hold on extinct, sharp lava stones. If you feel cold, wear your rain poncho. The rain poncho protects you from rain and wind. Follow the natural trail through casuarinas forest until the timberline and then follow a trail of extinct lava, up to the crater, where you await the sunrise over the island. The ascent takes about 4-5 hours, depending on physical condition. The descent takes less. Take your time hike your speed. Don’t push you to adopt other participants hiking speed. Tell your tour leader if the hike is to difficult or to fast or if you need help or any assistance.
Enjoy breath-taking birds eye view at the young daybreak and hot coffee, cappuccino or tea include some snacks at the crater. Do not leave the trail and always follow the instruction of your tour leader. Don’t forget to bring an extra T-shirt, to change up on the crater.
