Tag 1 : Bali – Flores – Mountain village
Morning flight from Denpasar Bali to Labuhanbajo Flores. Drive inland deep into Flores island. Lunch and many photo stops en route. Overnight at a school teachers house. Simple but clean. Indonesian bathroom/ toilets. (Shower is best outside in a clean jungle river). Possible also to overnight in tents with campfire. (L, D)
Tag 2: Rainforest & Ancesteral village
Early breakfast and depart trekking through coffee, clove and dense rainforest, up to 1100m above sea level, to an old ancestral village. Beautiful scenery of tropical rainforest and it’s bio diversity of plants. After lunch in their huts, return trekking to overnight at the school teachers house or camp. Possible also to overnight in this village in their traditional round huts. One big room in sleeping bag.(B, L, D)
Tag 3: Wae-Rebo – Denge - Labuhanbajo
After a cozy breakfast, depart back to Labuhanbajo. Lunch and many photo stops en route. Overnight in a nice beach front hotel with hot shower and refreshing pool. (B, L)
Tag 4 : Komodo island
Sunset cruise to Komodo island by speed boat passing little uninhabited islands with lonely beaches and crystal clear waters. At Komodo island, 30min./2km. trekking inland to watch the largest and fiercest monitor lizards on earth and fact, a close relative to the extinct Dinosaur. World class snorkeling at Pink Beach bay. Sunset cruise back to Labuhanbajo and overnight at the same hotel. (B, L)
Tag 5 : Labuhanbajo – Bali
After late breakfast you may witness the colorful market and visit a stone age cave called Batu Cermin. The more active one may explore the inner cave, through a small mans whole. Torchlight absolute necessary. Transfer to the airport of Labuhanbajo for a 90 minutes flight back to Denpasar Bali. (B)
