Pick up from the Hotel and proceed to central Bali.
En route to the starting point of our short trekking to a hidden waterfall, we will stop at a beautiful Banyan Ficus tree, to witness how a single tree of this kind, can grow it’s own forest. With it’s strong air roots, coming strait down from it’s branches, it can grow further and further able to build it’s own forest. The biggest Banyan Ficus tree in the world grows in Calcuta India, covers 2 hectare of land and is still growing.
After around 30 min. we depart driving to the starting point of our trekking to a waterfall. For this short trekking of about 30min.(one way), you need to wear trekking or sport shoes. Trekking sandals are also ok. Please watch your steps. Parts of the trail could be slippery, specially during wet season. If you need help or a stick for this trekking, just tell your guide. On the track you pass interesting plants like cocoa, coffee, ginger, cinnamon trees and others. Back at the jeep, chilled drinks (mineral water and soft drinks are awaiting you).
The mountain road leads you through valleys with beautiful terraced rice fields up to Bali’s lake region. Lunch in a restaurant at Lake Bratan.
Leaving the mountain forest behind, make yourself ready for an interesting, 2 hrs., biking. In pleasant and fresh mountain air, enjoy this island discovery on modern mountain bikes. Two hours slightly downhill ride (30km.) through traditional villages, along beautiful terraced rice fields. We ride slowly to experience skin deep the rural live of this country side. Your tour leader will ride in front and nobody please should passing him. Stops are made at your wish, for explanations and to answer your questions. Back at the jeep, enjoy fresh brewed Bali Mountain Coffee or chilled soft drinks.
Return transfer about 45 minutes. Back at your hotel app. at 5:00pm. |
