Reservations

For tour agencies in Bali:
A reservation of a full day tour program, should be first by phone to assure the availability. If space available please sent your reservation written by fax or email.
A reservation of an overnight tour program for Bali or islands beyond, please sent in written by fax or email far prior tour departure date.

For tour agencies outside Bali or Indonesia: Reservations of any tour programs, please sent far prior tour departure date, in written by fax or email.

Rates and Payments

Due to drastically economical changes (fuel rates, hotel rates...) the contract rates are subject to change.
A down payment of 50% is obligatory, before a confirmation could be sent. Rest payment in full should be received very latest 15 days prior tour departure.

Payments are in Euro (Other currency at current, daily exchange rate of Bank Indonesia). Payments are in cash or to be transferred to:

What is included

The quoted tour prices include services as indicated in the tour description under “Include”. Accommodations based on twin sharing basis, while a supplementary charge will be levied for single occupancy.

What is excluded

Expenses others than specified in the itinerary or “Exclude” such as international & domestic airfares, airport taxes, laundry, excess baggage, tips, meals (unless specified), personal or baggage insurance or any items of a personal nature which are not included in the quoted price.

Cancellation

(all cancellations must be in written and sent by fax or email)
All cancellations for a full day tour, received later than 5 days prior tour departure, will bear a penalty of 25% of the contract rate.
All cancellations for a full day tour, received later than 3days prior tour departure, will bear a penalty of 50% of the contract rate.
All cancellations or No Show during pick up time, will bear a penalty of 100% of the contract rate, valid also due sickness overnight, when not contacting us to cancel the tour program in written by fax or email.

All cancellations for an overnight tour/ round trip, received later than 15 days before tour departure, will bear a penalty of 15% of the contract rate.
All cancellations received later than 8 days prior tour dep., will bear a penalty of 25% of the contract rate.
All cancellations received later than 2 days prior tour dep., will bear a penalty of 50% of the contract rate.
Cancellations during pick up or No Show, will bear a penalty of 100% of the contract rate.

Tour Insurance

It is essential and strongly advisable that participants should arrange a comprehensive personal travel and accident insurance already overseas, before leaving home country or arriving destination. In this way you can ensure that you have the policy that is exactly right for you and fulfills all your requirements.
Clipper Discovery provides local accident insurance, special for adventure activities under Indonesian Law for throughout Java + Bali + Lombok + Sumbawa + Komodo + Flores + Timor + Sumba + Savu.

The insurance is restricted to persons of: 10 to 60 years of age.
For the Volcano Hiking is restricted the max height of 3500m. above sea level only.
And within this group only to persons who are in appropriate health conditions for the concerned tour. With the participation, the participants are aware of these conditions and declare to fulfill and to accept those.

Any conflict arising between CLIPPER DISCOVERY TOURS & TRAVEL and the participant/s that cannot be resolved by the parties themselves will be subjected to the ruling by the Court of Justice under the Laws of Indonesia.

Accomodation & Itineraries & Luggages

Clipper Discovery reserved the right to vary itinerary and hotel should the situation require it. Any additional cost as a result of delays because of technical reasons, Force Major or any other variation, are the responsibility of the tour participants. All luggage and personal effects are at all times and in all circumstances at the risk of the tour participant.
